Frequently Asked Questions

Our target is 21 days from initial submission to first decision. This includes 1–3 days for screening, 14–21 days for peer review, and 3–5 days for editorial decision. Complex revisions may extend this timeline.

Yes. IMAR accepts manuscripts in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. However, all submissions must include an English abstract regardless of the main language of the article.

The APC is only due after your manuscript has been accepted for publication. There is no submission fee. The APC is IDR 350,000 for domestic authors and USD 30 for international authors.

IMAR is currently in its first year of operation. SINTA accreditation requires a minimum publication history. We plan to submit our journals for SINTA evaluation in 2025. DOAJ application is also in progress.

Yes. IMAR explicitly welcomes community service reports (laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat / PKM). These are reviewed under the same double-blind process as research articles and receive a full DOI upon acceptance.
